Today is day 4 of watching Vanessa's children. They've been pretty good today. We took a walk and played outside and took long naps...
Now we're at Angie's visiting and Angie is trying to make Hannah drink straight lemon juice. I don't know why Angie's so mean, but now Hannah's pretending to like the lemon juice. I don't know who's crazier...
Wedding plans are falling into place. We have a church and a pastor and wedding clothes and people who love us to attend the ceremony. And invitations and everything.
We're still working on the reception. I mean, the wedding ceremony is the important part and it's totally ready to go. But we're trying to put together a party for the 125 or so of you who have RSVPed already. Even if we end up at the Moose Lodge eating gummy bears and drinking water from dixie cups, you know we always have a good time.
Ain't no party like a westside party cause a westside party don't stop.

*keepin up the westside lingo*
i thought it was the kooh rang party that didn't stop. either way, i'll be there. and i'll bring extra gummy bears just in case.
I'll bring M&M's for the Meeker party and snow caps for those of us (me) that do not like gummy bears. I could pick up a few bottles of Mogan David wine or Boones Farm, if you like. Gotta love the westside!!!!
My parents did a pot-luck wedding reception. I thought it was a great idea and wanted to do the same. I think my future Korean mother-in-law died a thousand deaths inside until we switched to a buffet at a 'normal' reception hall. Knowing her and Korean culture now, it makes me laugh to think I even proposed it.
But I still think its a great idea. I like your upcoming junk food pot-luck reception! ;-)
When Paul and I watched his brother's 3 kids, we came home, collapsed and declared that we were NOT ready for children.
They were 1,3 and 5.
Having neices and nephews are a good primer for having your own. Haha.
